This fun and actively charged class for your toddler is to develop muscle strength, coordination motor skills and balance that fuses together music and movement. The program promotes joyful exploration of movement experiences through playful creative expression. Your child and you will bond in new ways through this experience.
Age Range: 16 months to age 23 months

This program introduces your child to explore movement through playful educationally motivated atmosphere. The fun movement/dance activities merged with music will improve motor skills, coordination, listening skills and balance. Your child and you will bond in new ways as you spend this special time together.

Pre-K explores imaginative movement activities as your child is introduced through music - the magical world of dance. Your child will experience dance through their creative force while they learn skills and become more aware of the space and friends around them. Much emphasis is placed on developing a joyful dance experience in an atmosphere that is fun, yet structured, and educational.
Age Range: 3 – 4, must be 3 by Sep. 1

In Kinder, we introduce the most basic ballet steps such as plié, tendu, sauté and teach the beginning positions of ballet. The curriculum is designed to increase motor skills and works to master an understanding of right versus left, forward versus backward. Emphasis is placed on creating a joyful, educational, and physically charged environment that embraces overall learning.
Age Range: Age 5 by Dec. 1 (enrolled in Kindergarten)

In this level your child will continue to refine ballet steps while learning new ones. Emphasis is placed increased coordination, posture, muscle strength, developing stamina and improved balance in an age-appropriate structured environment that allows for individual expression to hone artistic development. Your child will become physically stronger and develop greater stamina to support their muscle development.
Age: 6 by Dec. 1st (1st grade)
Time Commitment: Once a week

In this important age group, the fundamentals of ballet are further developed, such as appropriate turnout and muscle development including the importance of proper feet stretching. Your child will gain greater posture and alignment as increased strength and balance is achieved in a carefully thought out and delivered class that allows for individual expressive and artistic growth.
Age: 7 by Dec. 1st (2nd grade +)

This level of study is the pre-cursor to the next division of study. In this level the students gain greater classical ballet vocabulary and muscle memory. The student will continue to achieve greater balance, stamina, and strength with an emphasis on proper alignment, turnout, and articulation. A concentrated focus will be placed on the assimilation and application of movement in an environment that encourages artistic development.
Age: 8+ (3rd grade +)

Students enrolled in Level 1 and Level 2 attend classes two to three times per week - increasing their time commitment. This enhanced level of training sets the foundation of classical ballet vocabulary and progresses at a steady-safe pace as the student continues to develop in the areas of muscle memory, strength, speed, coordination, and execution. In addition to Ballet and Character the students are offered Expressive or Contemporary Dance, an elective class to explore various dance movement to enhance their ballet study.
Time Commitment: 2 – 3 days depending on the exact level

Intermediate students meet three to five times per week depending on their level of study. Throughout each level the curriculum builds upon the already gained knowledge in a systematic method to develop classical technique and individual artistry. The previous study in the elementary programs
establishes the foundation for intermediate level. Students will be challenged with the greater physical and artistic demands.
Pointe work, Character dance, Condition class and Contemporary/Modern are all part of the core curriculum.
In this program the student needs to possess solid intentions,
keen commitment and be physically motivated.
Time Commitment: 3-5 days depending on the exact level

In this level the student has now chosen that ballet training takes precedence over other extracurricular activities. Students will train in daily technique class, repertoire/variation, and character dance. Upon completion of the final level of study the student may decide to go on to study dance at colleges, universities, or pursue a professional career by auditioning to be accepted as an apprentice or corps de ballet for a professional dance company.
Time Commitment: 5 to 6 days depending on the exact level

Ballet classes are designed for the adult student who wishes to pursue dance; if it’s for your first time, or to continue your training already learned from adolescent years or, for the college student
that is seeking additional training, we have a class for you.

BEGINNER AND BEGINNER +

INTERMEDIATE
Designed for the adult student that can assimilate and execute classical ballet technique throughout a full ballet class including barre and center work. The pace of the class is quicker than the beginner level and more complex. It is most suitable for an adult student, post professional or dancer / student returning to continue their training. Most important is for the student to be inspired to reach their individual goals with the assistance of the teacher in an atmosphere that is artistically charged.
